1. Who we are
These terms are between you ("Client") and Bytecraft Media SRL, a limited-liability company registered in Romania, with offices at Șos. Alexandria Nr. 86, Bl. L24, Sc. 1, Ap. 34, Sector 5, București, registered under CUI 54481523, J2026024670003, neplătitor TVA ("Bytecraft Media", "we", "us", or "our").

2. What we do
Bytecraft Media is a boutique technical studio. We offer professional services including but not limited to: website design and development, internal tools and dashboards, automation and integration projects, vertical video production, and multilingual content services. 3. Engagement
Each project begins with a written brief and a fixed quote (the "Statement of Work"). Work proceeds only after the Statement of Work is countersigned by both parties. Any change to scope, timeline, or price requires a written addendum.
4. Payment
Payment terms are set per Statement of Work. Standard practice is 50% on countersignature and 50% on delivery, payable within 14 days of invoice date by SEPA bank transfer. Late payments accrue interest at the legal rate applicable in Romania. Bytecraft Media is currently neplătitor TVA (not VAT-registered); invoices reflect this.
5. Intellectual property
On full payment, the Client owns all deliverables produced under the Statement of Work, source code, design files, content, and documentation. Bytecraft Media retains the right to reference the work in its portfolio (bytecraftmedia.eu) using non-confidential screenshots and headline metrics, unless the Client requests otherwise in writing before the project starts.
Bytecraft Media retains ownership of any open-source contributions, internal tooling, and reusable libraries used to build the deliverable. The Client is granted a perpetual, non-exclusive licence to use these in the context of the deliverable.
6. Confidentiality
Each party will treat as confidential any non-public information shared during the engagement. Confidentiality survives termination of the Statement of Work for 3 years.
7. Warranties and liability
Bytecraft Media provides services on an "as is" basis with the warranty that they will be performed with reasonable skill and care. To the maximum extent permitted by law's total liability under any engagement is capped at the fees actually paid by the Client for the applicable Statement of Work. Bytecraft Media is not liable for indirect or consequential losses, lost profit, or business interruption.
8. Termination
Either party may terminate an engagement for material breach if the breach is not cured within 14 days of written notice. On termination, Client pays for work completed up to the termination date.
9. Governing law and jurisdiction
These terms are governed by Romanian law. Any dispute will be submitted to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of București, Romania.
10. Changes to these terms
We may revise these terms from time to time. The current version always lives at this URL with a Last updated date at the top. Material changes will be notified to active Clients by email at least 30 days before they take effect.
